NaNoWriMo

I just browsed the NaNoWriMo site a bit and I am thinking about participating.

It's just... my current WIP will have more than 50,000 words, Part 1 will probably have less.
And starting a new one... I could do the plotting in October and put "Ella" on hold for November (because I don't think I will be able to manage 2000 words a day; heck, I don't know how I will be able to write 1700 a day!)

Anyone else thinking about joining?

Every year I consider joining...every year I decide not to. I'm sure it's useful and motivating...I just can't make it work for me...Heck, I couldn't even manage my measly 500 words/day goal over the 5-day marathon.

When I see the number - 50,000! - only, cold sweat is breaking out all over. So I probably shouldn't join :)

I only wish the NaNoWriMo was in October. I have the first and last week off, and could write all day.

If I decide to nevertheless, I'll let you know, I will need all the support I can get :)
