Fireworks

Some idiots have been using their fireworks since yesterday. Fireworks were available since Thursday and there are always those people who cannot wait.
Which causes other people's insomnia...

We have a parking lot behind the house (this sounds horrible, but it is not; it's not in use much and mostly by those who live nearby) and the noise is carried perfecly loud to my living-room window. And I startle everytime one of those things goes off... (nice excuse not to write, I know *g*)
