I just bought myself a new laptop. It's a late (and rather expensive) Christmas present to myself.

I just started it and already noticed that it will take some time to get used to Windows Vista. Not to mention transfering all of my files and programms... :)

Yay, Nina!

You needed a new laptop sooo much. I'm so happy for you. You'll do fine with Vista, not a problem at all, other than the time it takes to transfer everything from the old comp to the new one. There really needs to be an easier way to do this.

Thanks :)

There is a little Wiz pre-installed on the new comp that allows you to transfer via cable or USB drive.
Only problem is when I tried to start the program on my old laptop it said "You nedd a newer version of microsoft"
Isn't the whole point to upgrade to a newer version? *grrr*
Anyhow, I will transfer little portions every day (or as often as I'm in the mood) and since I will keep my old laptop I always can get back to that in the transition period.

And yes, I *really* needed it :)
